1. Booking
The booking is binding as soon as it is in writing (by email) and you have received a booking confirmation. The booking amount is due at the same time as the invoice.
2. Camp dates
The GET Academy’s camp date commitments are subject to the availability of appropriate instructors. The GET Academy endeavors to provide a substitute teacher if a teacher is absent. In the case of canceled camps, the GET Academy undertakes, in addition to immediately notifying the user, to refund the camp that was not held.
3. Bookings and group formation
If the minimum number of participants for a group is not reached, we reserve the right to combine groups (C+E) to ensure that the event can take place.
4. Cancellation & Worry-Free package
4.1 Withdrawal after registration
After registration, the statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days applies from the date of contract conclusion. Cancellation can be made in writing within this period; any payments already made will be refunded.
After the statutory 14-day withdrawal period has expired, cancellation with refund is no longer possible, regardless of when the cancellation is made. This also applies in the case of non-attendance, early termination of the camp, or illness during the camp. In these cases, there is no entitlement to a refund.
However, it is possible to nominate a replacement participant to take the booked place. This requires timely written notification from the legal guardians of both participants.
Cancellations must be submitted exclusively in writing by email to ferien@get-academy.com.
👉 We strongly recommend purchasing the Worry-Free package to protect against unforeseen events.
4.2 Worry-Free package (cancellation insurance)
The Worry-Free package is optional cancellation insurance and must be selected during registration. It cannot be added later.
With the Worry-Free package, up to 100% of the course fees are covered. Cancellation is possible up to 10 business days before the start of the camp, including a money-back guarantee, without giving a reason.
After this period, the following events are covered:
- Illness
- Serious accidental injury
- Death
- Pregnancy or pregnancy complications
- Significant property damage to the place of residence due to natural events (e.g. fire, burst water pipe) or criminal acts
In the event of no-show, the contractually owed cancellation fees will be reimbursed up to the amount of the insured course or seminar price. In the event of early termination of the camp due to one of the reasons listed above, the unused portions of the course will be refunded. A medical certificate is required in all cases.
4.3 Withdrawal by GET Academy
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the GET Academy can withdraw from the contract up to three weeks before the start of the camp. The GET Academy commits itself to inform everyone immediately after the conditions for the non-execution of a camp have been met. If it becomes apparent at an earlier point in time that the minimum number of participants cannot be reached, the GET Academy will inform everyone.
5. Prices
The prices at the time of booking apply to the respective services/products. The prices shown on get-academy.com include VAT.
6. Liability
The liability of the organizer for damages for which the course participant is responsible for whatever reason, in particular those damages for which the organizer is responsible to third parties, is expressly excluded. These are to be borne by the legal guardians. The GET Academy assumes no liability for health or other damage to participants or third parties, unless this is due to the fault of the supervisory staff deployed by us. The GET Academy is not liable for theft, loss or damage to items brought to the holiday camp. GET Academy is not liable for impairments and disruptions in connection with services that were only mediated as third-party services. Every effort has been made to ensure that the information in our brochures is as accurate and up-to-date as possible. However, changes may sometimes be necessary. Therefore, the content of the brochures, folders, flyers, neither in detail nor as a whole, can represent a contract between parents, course participants and the GET Academy. The GET Academy is not liable for third-party services, such as meals, which are only mediated by us.
7. Summer camp rules
Your children should feel comfortable with us, have fun and enjoy themselves, but a minimum of discipline is necessary and is required. We ask that our guidelines are followed. In case of misbehavior, particularly undisciplined or group-damaging behavior, indecent or criminal acts, we can decide to exclude a participant from the camp.
8. Arrival and pickup
We ask that you provide the name of the person who may pick up your child in advance. Participants will be brought and picked up personally by a legal guardian or representative. If children and teenagers are allowed to come and go independently, please notify us separately in writing. Please notify us of early pick-up by phone and (for safety reasons) this is only possible if you give an in person notice of departure to the course management.
9. Declaration of consent
By registering, I agree that my child can take part in all sports and leisure activities. I assume liability and all costs for accidents and damage of any kind caused by my child during the camp. I acknowledge that the course management accepts no liability for illnesses, accidents or damage to property caused by my child’s own actions or by force majeure. I trustingly accept the camp director’s orders that affect my child, even if they have to leave the course.
10. Photos and videos
Declaration of consent to photo and/or film recordings: I consent to pictures and videos being taken of the participants present during the GET Academy camps and for publication on the get-academy.com website, in (print) publications and on the social media channels of the GET Academy (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedln, YouTube) and may also be saved for this purpose. Despite all technical precautions, it cannot be ruled out that such persons will continue to use the photos and/or videos or pass them on to other persons. This consent to photo and/or film recordings is voluntary and can be revoked at any time by contacting the GET Academy with effect for the future. If the recordings are available on the Internet, they will be removed as far as GET Academy is able to do so. Rights of the person concerned: Information, correction, deletion, blocking, right of withdrawal According to § 34 BDSG you are entitled at any time to ask the GET Academy for comprehensive information about the data stored about you. In accordance with § 35 BDSG, you can request authorization, deletion and blocking of individual personal data from the GET Academy at any time. You can also exercise your right to object at any time without giving reasons and change or completely revoke the declaration of consent you have given with effect for the future.
