Summer Camps Holiday Care
To care for children between the ages of 8 and 14 in our English-speaking summer camps throughout Austria, we are looking for German-speaking, dedicated caregivers, (30 hours per week) to provide on-site care alongside our native speakers for the period mid-July to end of August 2024 at the locations by the week or longer.
Location
Your tasks
- Supervision of children and adolescents between the ages of 8 and 14 years old
- Liaison between students/parents and teachers/organization
- Supervision during the whole 1-week camp (during breaks and if needed also during lessons)
Your qualifications
- Very good German, English skills an advantage
- Ideally advanced or completed pedagogical education
- Previous practical experience in taking care of children and teenagers e.g. in similar projects
- First aid course (16 hours) mandatory
- High level of problem-solving skills and organizational skills
- Enjoy working with children, teenagers and parents
- Strong team spirit and empathy
We offer you a varied area of responsibility within the framework of a 5-day week from Monday to Friday. Working in our young, highly motivated and international team. If you are considering or already studying pedagogy, the weeks of supervision in terms of teaching techniques are an additional, special benefit.
The summer holiday care activity is endowed with a monthly minimum salary of € 1,500 gross. (Base 38.5 hours/week)
